What's Next?

The scope of this project is manageable. Because of our teams’ background in indie theatre production, the gaps in our knowledge are few, so while we have gaps in our knowledge, they are not overwhelming.

  • Our largest gap depended on finalization of a venue, which we have accomplished. Officially booking Lower Bay Station will influence the next steps of the project such as budget finalization, logistics of staging, and marketing.

  • With nearly a year to the desired workshop date, and a clear timeline and plan for next steps, we have time.

  • Due to the high appeal of Halloweekend and Lower Bay Station as a venue, filling the audience with families, friends and horror buffs should be a feasible goal.

  • Horror and horror-comedy sub-genres are increasingly popular, so our project is likely to have audience appeal.

  • Naomi will be self-funding the show, so we are not reliant on outside financing.

  • Since we do not need to break even at the end of this venture, we are not concerned if there is a loss. This workshop is an investment in the future longevity and viability of the project.
